Your FE model is very good. And what's the analysis code you are using?I'm also a engineer concening FEM. I often use MSC softwares. Recently, I began to use ADINA. I think we can make friends. Would you be my friend?

yeahh, yeahh, simulating stress analysis on a single part is quite simple. simulating stress analysis on a 3d frames such as trusses is a different animal.
