  • this is NOT Yes, but a Chris Squire and Alan White's single (featuring Andrew Jackman's orchestration) released in 1981. Awesome song though

  • This song is amazing. It always gets me in the Christmas spirit.

  • @oilingup Since Chris Squire is in control of all things Yes, this wound up on the box set. Good tune, but only 2/5 of Yes (maybe a 1/3 fraction if you include Billy Sherwood)

  • @zzzxxyy we could say that. it's not accurate, since some people compare their new album with Magnification. I Personally think that Fly from here is much better, some songs gives the feeling of Close to the Edge and such.

  • One of the oddest Christmas rock-songs out there. I remember hearing it on the radio first time on it's original release, could hardly believe I was hearing Chris Squire's voice, and taking it as a sign of continued life for Yes, a band I treasured then and now. Here I am , many moons later....and it's still kind of an odd, lovable song for the season.

  • I heard the the band's newest album is their best since "90125". Is this accurate?

  • No problem, and agree. Brilliant song. I had bought this box set at the time of its release in 1991. What's your opinion, by the way, about their last album "Fly From Here", if I may ask?

  • OK thanks for the information, but still it has a Drama sound. Where Drama does not have the Yes sound, it's still a nice album, in my opinion.

  • very nice song by yes, combining the past and present
