If you're contemplating attending SeaWorld camp, DO IT. It was literally one of the best experiences of my life. This is from this past August, at SeaWorld Orlando. To give you just a taste of what we did, here's a basic summary:
Day One:
Check in, eat dinner in the park, see Shamu Rocks, sleep in Wild Arctic exhibit by the polar bears and belugas
Day Two:
Clean sting ray tank, ride Manta, go behind the scenes at Manta's aquarium, do the Sharks Deep Dive (don a wetsuit and hop in a shark cage, where the only thing between you and sharks are metal bars), feed seals and sea lions, go to hotel for the night
Day Three:
Go to Aquatica for the day and enjoy all of the rides and experiences, go to SeaWorld in the evening to make oyster mats for the depleting oyster beds on the Florida coastline, go to hotel
Day Four:
Go to Discovery Cove for the day and enjoy everything the park has to offer (Swimming in a sting ray pool, snorkeling in a tropical reef, and swimming with Atlantic Bottlenosed Dolphins!), then returning to SeaWorld in the evening to see Clyde and Seymore, participate in a sea lion training session, then return to the hotel
Day Five:
This day is "Trainer Day", and is the most hectic of all the days. The day began by going to the Wild Arctic area, where we learned more about polar bears, belugas, and walruses. (This is also where I had an incredible interaction with Klondike using the toys I brought.), then going behind the scenes of the exhibit, going further behind the scenes to filtration systems, seeing a walrus training session, petting a penguin, seeing Blue Horizons, going to the dolphin nursery to observe mother dolphins and their calves, seeing Believe, going to backstage aviaries and rescue and rehabilitation areas, going to Manatee Rescue, seeing Pets Ahoy!, going to the Penguin Encounter, seeing Sea Lions Tonite!, riding Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, and Manta (multiple times), and spending the night in the dolphin exhibit. (Campers are given sleeping mats to put under their sleeping bags. I took mine and used it as an EED to play with the dolphins for hours on end. (: )
Day Six:
This is the last day of camp. Some people leave in the morning, but SeaWorld offers free park admission for campers and their families on the last day. My family took advantage of this offer to spend the day at SeaWorld.
The entire week was absolutely incredible. It was my third time returning to camp, and let me tell you: the third time is definitely the charm. I've wanted to be a killer whale trainer at SeaWorld since I was a toddler. This experience did nothing but reinforce that desire to work with marine mammals. And I loved every second of it. (:
hey! i was wondering if you HAVE to ride the rides? like manta? i would really like to do this, but i hate rides! please help !! :)

@AuntJoMama24 You most certainly don't! (: There will always be at least one counselor that doesn't go on the ride, so you can always stay with them. Though I've never opted out of a ride, I do believe that they will go to another attraction of some sort. On the last night at SeaWorld, you have to option to ride Kraken and Journey to Atlantis, but if you don't want to, there are plenty of other games around, as well as exhibits such as the Penguin Encounter. So in short, no, you don't have to(:

@estelle497 thanks so much for answering! i have two more questions, if you dont mind answering. :)
1.) do you do a lot of things with the beluga whales? they're my favorite animal ever and i would love to interact with them often!
2.)i know you drove, but if you take a plane, do you have to have transportation from the airport to seaworld?

@AuntJoMama24 No problem! Absolutely! (: (1. It sort of depends on which camp you do. As far as the camp I went to, I'll be honest when I say you don't. But there's a Beluga Interaction Program you can do on the day your camp ends (you and your family get free admission to the park!). You do have to pay for it, but it's an absolutely phenomenal experience! (2. Nope! I've flown to camp before, and if you do it with your family, you can go with them to SeaWorld. It's totally up to you. (:

@estelle497 im sorry if im bothering you. but im really interested in going. (; what kind of clothes did you bring ?

@AuntJoMama24 No worries (: The ice breakers just include games like Pterodactyl (which is pretty hilarious!) and just stuff where you sit around in a circle and get to know the other campers. And as far as clothes, mainly shorts and t-shirts. Bring some hoodies or sweatshirts as well, especially for the night in Wild Arctic. Otherwise, it's Florida weather, so it'll be hot in general. You will do a lot of walking though, so tennis shoes are a must!
