Surf Session : 07/01/08 Summer Sunset Beach

080701sunset.gif There is a nice little swell on the north shore and I felt in the mood for a roadtrip so up to the north shore we go. I check out several breaks like chuns and ehukais but setteled on Sunset beach. Winds were onshore with Kona conditions. There were a few learners, a couple groms and some afternoon pros out in the water.

yes the waves are small but they don't suck. In order to suck it requires a larger wave to suck the water off the reef to expose it. been there would give my left nut to go back my cousin got married on sunset not far from that grocery store with the starbuks in it man we got some moon fish i think it was called there at the grocery store and grilled that shit that was the best fish i ever had good times
