For a few months out of the year, Great Hammerheads are very common around the islands of Bimini, Bahamas. This is just a brief collection of clips from 2010-11 at a site we've found to be very reliable for these beautiful sharks.

Freediving with sharks is way more fun than catching them as trophies. Great Hammerheads are listed as an Endangered Species by the IUCN, and they are a crucially important part of the marine ecosystems of the Bahamas.
