A quick narrative-style test video using the Canon EOS 60D. Cheesy, yes. ;)

Lenses:
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 12mm & f/3.5
Pentax 50mm f/1.7

Edited in Final Cut Express
Graded with Magic Bullet Mojo

  • @LTPDfilms FCE doesn't support 24p, so I edit in a 25p sequence... Just drag and drop footage in, and render... FCE doesn't come with the codecs to be able to put the footage into ProRes.

  • How do you import into FCE?

  • @2isTheNew1 Yeah, if you don't need the range, the Tokina should work fine...If you don't want something that wide though, a zoom that starts at 18, 24, or 28mm is good.

  • @stembridgemill wow really? because i was just looking at the Tokina and it looks super wide.. but i wasn't sure if i wanted a lens that wide... huh this really makes me think. there's like a 200$ difference between them..

  • @2isTheNew1 I love it — super wide, good color, and sharp. I got it instead of a Tokina 11-16mm, and it was definitely worth it.

  • 10-22mm. how much do you like it? because i was looking for a 20mm for doing vlogs and stuff.. but i dont know if it's good enough because of the crop censor...
