Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida, offers many things to do June 17 -21, and Judie Mackie from SearchAmelia News gives you insight to what is going on around town. The Nassau Sport Fishing Association's, Kingfish Tournament of Champions, sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association. Thought this segment was shot while on vacation in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Hoover Dam, it is all about Amelia Island.

Also, check out Trivia with Maggie upstairs at the Crab Trap and the Singers and Songwriter's Night at the Florida House Inn on Wednesday. The Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, offers fine dining from Salt, the grill at the Ritz, is offering an interactive, hands on, cooking class for only $339.00 per person for two days.

The Amelia Island Museum of History is offering a presentation about George Washinton by Gerhardt Thamm, discussing Washington's patriotism and his covert abilities.

Saturday, Fernandina is hosting the 1st Annual Amelia Island Beach Walk and the fish fry for the Kingfish tournament is open to the public and a "don't miss" . Sunday, the rockin' trio Blistur returns to Wicked Davey's at 4:00 PM. Come on out and say "hi" if you see us out and about!
