Basically this "5Gods" thing is a old internet joke which has been around since 2006, so none of those players are responsible for it.
Nuki is just sharing his reminiscences, not stating current situations.

However, both Nuki and Tokido seems to love 5gods jokes. Nuki mentioned 5gods on the stage of SBO '06, Tokido referred it when he did pledge at the opening ceremony of SBO '10.
Tokido even made a "5 Gods" guild for SSF4 AE and invited other "gods", Nuki joined it just for fun, Haitani also joined it for a week then left, because he felt a bit embarrassed.
