  • I love this kid! Wow...He made me cry!

  • @MrFrenzcarl, it kind of reminds me of those Filipinos who always send out random friend requests to strangers on social networking sites. Why are so many Filipinos so annoying and obnoxious online? I really think that their annoying ways stand out from other groups.

  • @MrFrenzcarl, Filipinos often seem at once both racial supremacists & people w/ an inferiority complex. They seem to think their "race" or "blood" affords them special talents in the arts or other areas (newsflash: it doesn't!), while at the same time apparently trying to seek the approval or recognition of people in more advanced, successful & developed countries. All these comments from Filipinos online obsessed with pointing out who is Filipino and who isn't are SOO annoying and pathetic.

  • @dlwke2 ...im so intrigued with your comments..BDW, i am a Filipino by race and blood and im one of those who greatly appreciated talented Filipinos...WE ARE NOT STUPID!...it is a fact that Filipinos are talented, so we appreciate it, and.. if we spent too much of our most valuable time appreciating the Filipino talents, its non of your business and the hell you care!!.... We just want to say that Philippines can be as great as any prominent country in many ways...

  • @dlwke2

You really spent all that time reading all those comments? I mean, I understand what you are saying, & I agree w/ you about some people only caring for one facet of someone & one's talent or whatever has nothing to do with each other.

If you've read any of my comments on any other threads w/ these talent shows, you'd know I comment on talent.

W/ my original comment, I just meant "yay, he's a Filipino who can sing," I sure as hell can't sing & I'm of Filipino heritage.

  • @LadyShadowDragon, and, finally, being proud to be Australian or proud to be American has nothing to do with race! It's more about being proud of your culture, the ideals of your country and the wonderful standards of living found in both places. Filipinos seem to spend a lot of time trying to figure out who has "filipino blood" in them and who doesn't. It's like all they care about. They are obsessed with race and are often soooo annoying!!

  • @LadyShadowDragon, you see "so proud to be filipino" and "pinoy pride" and "omg, look, that singer is 1/100000 filipino, aren't filipinos so talented??" on so many videos. Listen, people, being a good singer or performer has NOTHING to do with your race. You hear them talk about "having filipino blood" and other similar comments and how that is the reason for their talent. It's weird and creepy! Even Japanese and Koreans who can be annoyingly ethno-centric aren't this bad online!

  • @LadyShadowDragon, no, no other groups do it quite like filipinos. I think those filipino posters have racist tendencies and are obsessed with finding out what percentage filipino this or that performer is. I can understand national pride and patriotism, but what these filipinos do online goes far beyond that; it's more about race and ethnicity more than anything. Japanese, Dutch, etc. don't go overboard like these guys. Just look at the comments .
