I've edited this to highlight the use of the word Uh and the fact that a Congressman thinks islands can capsize.

  • As a representative of the government, Johnson should be aware that the Army Corps of Engineers has securely fastened all US islands to the seabed. It did so after Key West almost tipped over in 1988 during a particularly exuberent gay pride festival.

  • Are you KIDDING me? If this was a republican I am sure it would be EVERYWHERE! hahahahahaha that is the funniest thing I have heard all year.

  • "...duh, duh, the whole island will, ugh, become so overly populated that it would tip over and, uh, and capsize! And uh, also, things like the, uh, environment, uh, the duh...lots of people don't like to think about that but you know think about global warming either uh"

  • WOW!

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • Stationed on Guam,I can say it IS precariously situated on RING OF FIRE w/ EARTHQUAKES routinely.Inhabitants say Guam's falling into ocean. WWII mission outweighed the costs.Guam's size limits its ability to help people in a disaster:2 weeks post Supertyphoon Pamela before PLUMBING restored;SAR helicopters so overburdened, cudn't stay 5 min. 2 find victim on SUNNY day.Wud YOU be the distress call they left,OR 1 they go to?Hats off to ANYONE on that chemotherapy,& makes it to car, much less work!

  • are you sure this guy isnt a republican

  • What's even funnier than Johnson's statement here is his pathetic attempt to defend himself by saying his statement was a "metaphor".

Funny how he modelled the "metaphor" with his hands as if he meant the words literally.

  • man i feel bad for this guy, this is sad

not everyone can afford a geo science class...

aparently they can afford drugs though

  • i mean im from Guam and i been hearing his words way before he said them on TV. ofcourse he doesnt mean its going to literly tip over, if you ever been to Guam you would know that our services (roads, waterworks, power, schooling) are horrible. we are barely making it with our current population much less 80,000 more. this guy only sounds stupid to the people who either dont know whats going on or the people who want him to sound stupid for personal entertainment.

  • DUh duh duh duh duh.... LOL
