The sound is much clearer. Lol, the other video had more warmth. Both violins are amazing in tone, don't get me wrong. You are very lucky to be able to sample these instruments. Plus, it makes it more special that u and ur brother are extremely talented! Viel Glück to you both!

these violins belong to an estate. some are on loan to conservatories, schools, violin students, performers, etc., some will be sold, some will be donated to universities and museums, and some will be kept by the family. Yes, we feel very lucky to be able to spend a few minutes with each instrument :D

thanks...my great grandmother spent time there after world war 2 as a german translator. she treasured the carpets and paintings that she purchased there. they're beautiful and still hang in our home.
