@krypto360 how about just google searching "chicago beaches" before you make such an uneducated comment? first, a beach is a geological landform along the shoreline of an ocean, sea, lake or river. It usually consists of loose particles which are often composed of rock. If you'd like to learn more about Chicago beaches, just search on yahoo or google "chicago beaches". FYI: Lake Michigan, like Caspian sea (also a lake), is bigger than some countries.

@TLJAWSIMIB first of all bro im from the bronx ny castle hill..but now live in chicago..ny is shit compared to here..you need money to live in new york if you dont have money you cant enjoy the city.....chicago has the same shit...and culture...the only difference is times square...and chicago has beaches ....if chicago had times square ....ny wouldnt be a factor...

@TLJAWSIMIB I don't love Chicago for it's skyscrapers....it's more about the aesthetics and the people and because it's where I lived for the first 35 years of my life ( Bridgeport ). Live about 35 miles out of the city now.

I agree. Beautiful city. So much character. One of very few cities in US where you don't really need to have a car.
Shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches, great achitecture,,,, it truly has it all.
