Samsung Acclaim - Software Review

[Sorry about the audio quality. My HTC Desire's camera was the only one i had at the time.] So here is the review on the software on the Acclaim. Which is Android 2.1. As of this upload, the Froyo (2.2) update has been released by US Cellular. So, if you have this phone, go update it!

I am getting a new phone for my birthday and I was wondering Acclaim Desire or Apex? I want something with a keyboard! and something with battery life! :) Please answer! :D

@dgeisen Out of those three, the Desire defiantly. Yeah the Desire doesnt have a keyboard, but its really easy to type on screen... the Acclaim and Apex's keyboards arent worth getting over the Desire. The Acclaim and Apex also have much worse battery lives than the Desire. The Desire feels like a solid, great phone, which is better than the iPhone, were as the Apex and Acclaim are just low-end Android devices... Get the Desire... (Though HTC Merge has a keyboard... and is a great phone)

that looks like a sweet fone im gettin that soon and i need to know if this would be a good fone cause ive looked at the comments on us cellular and they say it blows but others say it awsome so can you please reply to this youonpictures please im really serious im workin hard on y choires to get it and i aint workin dat hard to get a peice of crap in 11 years old and please respond in the next few dayz today is june 18th so ill check every 2 days and please reply and if you do thank u so much!

@thematchrocket Well, it is a lower end Android device. Though, now that i think about it it wasnt too bad. It can lag at times. The GPU isnt the greatest (thats the graphic, it helps with games/3D graphics ect..) so some games are kinda laggy, the GPS is not as strong as i would have liked, but it still worked. It also doesnt have a ton of internal memory for app and whatnot. You can move to SD, but that wont give you a ton extra. I would recommend an HTC deice though, if you go the extra $.

@YouonPictures thank you so much ive got another question if u would please can you go on like youtube or get a memory chip for it and would you prefer the samsung aclaim or the lg apex those im stuck with i heard about there both good im not sure and thank u for answering this one i would really appreichiat it (if thats how u spell apreasheate lol) please reply ive got to get one before summer is up and i want to get the best thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!

@thematchrocket well, if i were to say one, id choose the Acclaim, its a little bit more powerful than the Apex. But still, you cant get an HTC device? Cost to much? But if you want the best Android device from US Cellular, i would choose the HTC Merge... it has lots of app space, its built tough, fast, has a keyboard, and will run games great. But yeah, if money is a problem, id say the Acclaim.
