Nice one Mike, great shooting and a great vid as usual. Notice you used bottles of water and not beer or cider mate lol ;)

Brilliant mate I live in the midlands and wanting to go rabbiting and the like with a crossbow rather than my rifle can you recommend any good ones
-
anyone ever heard of or used a Cobra 180lb Crossbow?? I found it on Amazon for a great deal and took the leap. It hasn't been shipped yet so I'd like to hear any opinions on it
-
bottle #7: "oh my god! did you see that?!"
-
How is it you can own all these weapons and still live in the U.K.? You must have to fill out a shitload of paperwork for licenses.
-
@WeaponCollector i just bought some on ebay, i tought is was 25 dollars for a package of 6 arrows and 6 broadheads.
-
hello to crossbow is very strong even I had a seeing his videos and I have used the same trigger problem that you did was put mto hard, have some other system trigger to make it more sensitive to a 180 pounds?
-
@AlexChambers2008 No, at least not in the U.S. You can even just buy them online.
-
Nice ! If you want more penetration trim down or remove the feathers alltogether. I wouldn't waste a broadhead on some bottles. Too many pesky feral hogs here in Texas for all that !
-
Nice one mate.
I got some off ebay fairly cheap and you can get basic ones at a few bushcraft shops online in UK.
Wish we could get the variance of the American market for broadheads! Not as much call for 'em here I guess.
Did carbon-fibre bolts make a difference in your opinion?
Like your vids!
Also Mike.
-
@theguywith1face , If I can get some broad heads I'll do ALL the tests again.
Mike.
-
Same test with broadheads? Then after that, same test with broad heads and more bottles!
-
@kresistable Yes, call of duty is fun and all but this is a serious weapon, let's leave cod out of it, m'kay?
-
ever considered explosives, guaranteed to knock them all down , prob empty the yard as well

last bottle stillstanding is loosing nothing through the end hole directly. its all going back to the first standing bottle and then going out from there. Awesome.
-
@RG7621 Alright mate, sadly this crossbow is discontinued now, i bought it about 7 years ago and i'm not sure if people still sell them, try Barnett's website to see what they sell now, they may still do version like this or similar.
Mike.
hm. i thought a crossbow could do more than that...
tough bottles...

@Downarrow2 , it might have been the gaps, check out the video responses.

@WeaponCollector: yeah. same thing with bullets 'n' spaced targets, although the effect is way stronger with the projectile coming apart + sharing their momentum with debris. i've seen bolts go through several feet of body tissue / bones ...so i was kinda disappointed:)

@Downarrow2 , i know what you mean, this crossbow will go through an inch of wood but not many bottles of water, the crossbow itself is 150lb draw - which is reasonably strong - so maybe its the bolts or bolt tips, and possibly the water? who knows, intereting results though.
