The attack on the Pacific fleet based at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 by Japanese fighters, bombers, and torpoedo bombers would forever change history and America's role in the world. Here is a feature recalling the attack and its impact on the lives of those who experienced it first hand as well as those who found out about it through news broadcasts.
On behalf of the history academia I would like to thank you for making this video. Keep these videos coming. Those (at the time young men) who were there, as well as others who were old enough at the time to join the armed forces are passing away by the day. It is absolutely crucial to get their stories, interviews and social history documented immediately. Keep documenting the war as much as humanly possible. Seventy years have passed since Pearl Harbor, and those guys aren't getting younger.

Thank you all for sharing your stories. I'm so glad to hear how it was, a part of our history that isn't available from any other source, and our schools teach so little about WW2. Thank you so much for your service and may God bless you all.
