The camera was Gopro HD in a 720p 30 fps mode, fixed to a ski helmet by a standard Gopro ventilated helmet strap. I noticed after the skiing day at the hotel that the camera should have been sligthly less leaned to remove an upper part of the helmet from the picture.
Lenght of the footage is 1:06 minutes and a raw mp4 file size was 64.6 MB, suggesting a 0.98MB per second storage rate.
By the way, this was my very first downhill run in season 2009-2010, so please do not rate the style... :-)

Their most expensive package is $300 on GoPro's site but it depends on what mounts you want (they have 3 packages with various mounts).
They come with suction cup mounts so I'm guessing that's what this guy is using. that or the helmet mount.

Gopros are so sick. I wish i had one for my ski videos. Check them out! Especially me breaking my rib on a backyard rail.

how much money was this camera, also, do you have screw holes into the shell of your helmet to put the camera on?

There are curved 3M sticky mounts, suction cup mounts and a big elastic strap.

do you need to make any hole in the helmet to mount the camera? or can you just wrap it on?
