A classic Hungarian cartoon about a little fox who is raised by his uncle. Don't mind the icons that pop up in the corner. Those are part of a DVD function I couldn't get rid of.

  • This tale is really good, like all the big Hungarian tales. Where can we find these good, adroit, real-Hungarian things nowdays? It’s a pity that Hungary became a tipical obnoxious Easter European country. Hope the real Hungarian mentality will return one day!

  • Im only 11 , yet this ... It's way better than kids TV I mean I like to watch the classics like bagpuss .... What happened to quality children's entertainment?

  • Awwwww so many memories......when I was a kid In Iran they used to show this ALL the time during the kids' programming. It was so popular. I remember it had a nice theme music.

  • Also to those that are saying the english version is ruining the movie let me say this...Its funny that the people that say that are either getting very few thumbs up or not getting thumbed up at all. Its as I said to Tigerclaw004 bashing does not change anything.

As for the video I must say that Vuk's voice is quite unsettling...other than that it is good.

  • @Tigerclaw004 Even if the english version made something epic every other country would say its terrible and some of us that DO NOT speak hungarian but speak or have learned english (and not hungarian) are grateful. I dont want to insult you but bashing the english version will get you nowhere.

  • oh my...the sounds are so... terrible XD Original hungarian edition is way better!

  • It's writer, István Fekete, was a Biologist. He is the second famous Hungarian writer, 'till 2002, 8.700.000 sold of his books, in 10 language and in 12 country. His most famous books are: Vuk (about a fox), Tüskevár (about the summer time adventures), Hú (about an owl), Ci-Nyi (about a mouse), Kele (about a stork), Bogáncs (bout a Puli dog), and the Koppányi Aga testamentuma (about a Hungarian warrior, who kills a Turkish Aga, and marry to his daughter).

  • I had a VHS of this when I was a little kid and used to watch this all the time. I had no idea this was Hungarian.

  • thumbs up if you saw the dogs ass hole!

  • Wait... so this is available officially?

  • Oh my gosh i grew up with this movie!! Sure brings back sum memories.

I used to love that crow~
