Here is a quick Marinara Sauce. Its great on its own or as a base for dozens of other pasta sauces.

  • One garlic clove???!!! Are u kidding me??? You have to use at least 5 or 6 cloves!!

  • You would get arrested in Italy for calling this Marinara sauce.  Stick to American cooking, the world will be safer.

  • How could you possibly only use 1 clove of garlic??? A marinara sauce is dependent on garlic as it's main ingredient, using at least 5-6 cloves. You should move to Naples, Italy for a year to learn how to make a real sauce!!!!

  • @Qatmir there is no cheese in marinara.

  • where would you serve that over a hamburger :) Seeds = Bitterness Stem and rhine = bitterness. Some people favor fresh basil at the end..it is a nice fresh flavor but I a an oregano man. Did anyone see anybody taste it while it was cooking. If it is bitter....your only hope with her recipe is sugar....good luck with that one

  • I think everyone loves tomato seeds in their sauce according to this recipe. You're better off saying "quick marinara recipe: open jar of Prego, heat over medium heat till boiling then simmer."
