Tony Abbott betrays Peter Reith

This video highlights how Tony Abbott can't be trusted for MANY reasons.

Most of us know that Tony Abbott has no problems lying to the Australian people on an almost daily basis, but as you will see in this video (taken from 6.30 with George Negus - Network Ten), Tony Abbott is more than willing to tell anyone what they want to hear - including former senior Liberal Ministers - and then betray them when it counts.

Tony Abbott also refuses to answer the question of what he told Peter Reith.

Tony Abbott: "Look, I'm just not going to get into who said what to whom and when".

If Tony Abbott has no problem lying to a former senior Liberal Minister such as Peter Reith, no wonder the Australian public can't trust him.

Reith is a disgusting show pony looking for attention..Abbott and Reith have nothing but their own interest in power at heart..I notice ABC 24 courting ol' Pete a lot lately..I wonder why. He's such a whining obnoxious little man..nearly as obnoxious as phony Tony. The Liberal party sure have some good actors and liars employed these days. They attract the lowest common denominator..racists, sexists, extremists, after all Tony & Cory have visited the Tea Party fools in the US for some pointers.

@Mischelle999 - I haven't thought too highly of Peter Reith since the "children overboard" lies.

I think the ABC is courting Peter Reith because they know that where he goes, you can almost guarantee some kind of controversy.

Much like Abbott.
