NOTE for COOLPIX s3100 repair.....Follow this video, it's good...everything is the same except: in order to get at the clamp that holds the cable (1:40 point on video), you have to remove one silver screw over on the right side, then push the silver metal plate/cover over a little to the right (the plate that's covering the cable). Once the plate is out from under the little tabs that hold it down, bend the plate up in order to expose the cable connection clamp. Then replace plate.
