The Beatles album covers is one of the topics during the General Ignorance round on the "Groovy" episode on the G series / Series G, including: HELP! and Abbey Road.

I do not own the rights to the clip.

  • You look at the picture of Abbey Road - Paul is the only one walking 'out of time' - his right foot is forwarrd as opposed to everyone else's left.

  • @WishYouWereHere75

interesting, but don't you think it's just a coincidence? I mean planning and taking a picture exactly when the others are having their feet in a different way sounds a bit strange to me :)

  • @Akfilm92 Yeah, apparently the picture HAD to be taken in 10 minutes because the traffic was being held up by a policeman outside Abbey Road. So it IS a coincidence, but still led rise to the conspiracy that because Paul was 'out of time', it was his subliminal way of saying that he wasn't happy in the band and wanted out.

  • @WishYouWereHere75

Ah... I see :P Thank you

  • That one guy on Stephen's left looks like Dr. Who

  • @JimmySteller

Well spotted, lol - it is him :)

Indeed. Although Paul arguably was the one who wanted The Beatles to continue the most. John wanted out because he was with Yoko and doing things with her. George had a backlog of material which he wanted to release but couldn't whilst in the group. Ringo generally felt weary over the constant bickering - all this was more during 'Let it Be' really as that was actually made before Abbey road. They all accepted that they should make Abbey Road in order to 'Go out with a bang'

  • @poisonmissford Me too!! that documentary even kinda creeped me out.

  • The Part where they talk about the Abbey Road cover..It was on a documentary..I think it was called Paul McCartney is really dead..It's on Netflix. Made me See the Beatles a little differently. haha

  • @Akfilm92 No, he means Bill Bailey.

  • 0:02 ...don't break your buzzer, David!

  • @WishYouWereHere75 He's also the only left-handed person in the band, so perhaps it was just instinctual.

  • The theory has some merit. John is clearly dressed as Jesus. But then again that can be said of any long-haired bearded man in white.

  • Please Please me oh yeah A Second part¡¡¡¡

  • For those who don't know the whole 'paul is dead' thing started when people looking closely at paul in the 'paperback writer/rain' promo film saw that his tooth was chipped (from falling off a moped a week earlier) and therefore thought him a different person, the fall also split his lip which he covered with a moustache which the others copied to keep the uniform look of the group

  • @JimmySteller I hope they don't get you on the show...
