David Bryce (Lauten Audio) introduces the Lauten range of FET and tube condenser microphones at MusikMesse 2010. The Lauten Clarion is the only FET condenser in the range and has been uniquely tuned to produce a smooth and natural sound. The Lauten Horizon is the first of the tubes and is widely regarded as a real workhouse and as it features a -20db as well as a -10db pad, it is a real goto mic for those cranking guitars ad drums.

The ST-221 Torch is the most unique and versatile pair of small diaphragm microphones you will find. It has a surprisingly big low-end and fast transient response, producing original sound when recording instruments.

And that leaves the Lauten LT-381 which features a 31.25mm dual-diaphragm capsule which captures even the minute details of the sound source. With the unique circuit topology and body design you will notice increased clarity as well as subtle tube character. Being a transformer-less mic it also minimizes feedback and signal loss, while the unique signal path eliminates the harshness often associated with transformer-less mics.
