What are you looking at? What is it that captures your gaze? Perhaps it is something you long for, passing by as you gaze into space. Maybe it's something that you don't recognize and its unfamiliarity snags your attention momentarily as you try to decipher its purpose and function. The eye wanders and fixes, wanders and fixes, flickering left and right, up and down. A bright color or a quick movement hooks your line of sight. A glint of sunlight or a half seen shadow moving in your peripheral view makes you turn your head. Ancient reflexes constantly at work, seeking threats or food. This machine is built to lift your gaze up from the darkness into the light.
