I've been doing this combo in my program for 6 weeks. It's any athletes goal to have their strength/conditioning work carry over to their actual sport. Since going back to my gymnastics tumbling/skills after several months break - there is a marked improvment in my power - bounding ability - reaction time. I'm getting some major air :) As a female I can definitely say I love this combo!!!

I was extremely impressed when I came across this, i tried it out yesterday as a cardio strength day I guess u would call it. Quick, short, and sweet.. I used 35lb Dbs and it wooped my ass! Now as far as rest in between each sequence, due to the fact that these are triple extension lifts with a fast pace, should rest duration be longer than a minute?? I just want to use this on off days to keep up the EPOC. Thanks and keep up the great work!

@njstrongman32 Good question mate. I would think the answer depends on the "context" of the application. For conditioning purposes only, then yes push the incomplete recovery
But for kinetic chain work, rest a bit longer and opt for a greater load variance
Good luck with it mate

3-5 times through is a typical prescription if being done at the end of a workout. This can vary though depending where it is put in your program.
