- To avoid odor buildup when using a tampon, pad or pantyliner, change every 3-4 hours.

-Change tampons every 5-6 hours to avoid the risk of infection.

- Do NOT flush the plastic/cardboard applicators in order to avoid clogging

- You can flush the cloth material of the tampon, but there can be a risk of clogging depending on your plumbing system

-Do NOT flush pads or pantyliners!

- If you do get blood on your clothing, wash them as soon as possible in COLD water.

- Sleep on top of a towel to avoid leakage on your sheets/mattress.

- If you have bad cramps, there are medications you can take to relieve them. Ask your parents and/or doctor before trying any!

  • Oops. :P

  • Thanks for the video, it helped me SO much.

  • @megzismental14 You can go in a pool with a tampon but if you don't change it often enough (whether you're in the water or not) it can leak. I'd make sure to use a new tampon shortly before you go in and bring extras so you can check/change it in the bathroom after a few hours. Also check to make sure your tampon string isn't peeking out of your bathing suit --yikes! lol Hope this helps! And have fun at the party :)

  • @mariamtaleb52 You're welcome :)
