Thank you for your comment. This Kuntaw is under the lineage of GM Carlito Lanada. About the movements, Kuntaw is a fast-faced style, but unfortunately we really are not comfortable of showing this openly. Kuntaw uses the whole body and the movements are fluid; it just adopts to the situation. The techniques that are shown here are just a representation that Kuntaw adheres to a simple and direct movements.

nice clean techniques
I was one of the Maharlika Kuntaw guys in the Pampanga area who trained under Conrado Turla back in the 70's.. we still had the forms that represented both the chinese and indonesian forms.. I still teach them to my students and my students have used the training in real world combatives, not necessarily sport, but real world situations when the crap hit the fan and you needed to rely on your training to get you home at night
I was a kuntaw practitioner before you even knew about the system

Kyud, you said "I was a kuntaw practitioner". What happened to you? You are right by saying you even know the system earlier than I do, but I think a real kuntawista is always a kuntawista (Kuntaw becomes your way of life) unless you give up your art for something else or you were kicked out by the Kyud Lito. By the way, I am not young anymore.

Kuntaw is supposed to be mobile and fluid, not like some other arts where the practitioner moves like he has a stick shoved up his 6
Get real Man, do some research into kuntaw and get with the program

A real kuntawista does not judge other martial arts practitioners especially his kyuds because if you do this reflects how you were trained by your teacher, or how you made yourself influenced by bad apples.
