A springfield Missouri Police Officer breaking the law. Almost daily you can find them parked in the fire lane on park central square in front of the library. Inside you will find them inside drinking coffee writing reports on their laptops. This does not constitue and emergency therefore makes their parking illegal.

Springfield often disobey the law.

Usually cops park in firelanes when there is small problems... such as a suspicious person or something. Some cops are out of line, but my guess is this guy was on duty, and he was parking close bcuz he left his car running. Another good example is, when a cop passes you at a high rate of speed... usually this happens on a open highway and they are undercover on their way to a scene. Honestly i dont care where he parks, cuz you better be happy when your in trouble he will be there to protect.

@Twiztidguy oh, you're gues is way off. They sit there, or usually part there every day. They go into the library and coffee shop to hang out. My friend went up to one and said, "I'd like to report someone parking illegally." The cop got all interested and started to go out with her. But when he said, "where is it?" And she said, "right there, the police car." He got pissy and said, "Don't you have anything more important to do than waste my time?"
