This is a small video I made to add to my apple support article to help people diagnose the problem with my fairly new MacBook.

  • Hey, Mines is having the same problem, How can I fix this?

  • Unfortunately mine turned out to be a Hard Drive failure. I bought a new Hard Drive and recovered from my backup.

  • i was gonna buy a macbook, but now i'm thinking diffrently :(

  • The MacBook is a great machine on Leopard a great OS don't let me put you off.

The problem was the hard drive and once i got a new one I recovered the machine very quickly from my time machine backup

    Thanks for the comment,

  • Hey,

Thanks for looking I have now resolved this issue with a new hard drive and blank installation of Leopard. If you have a similar problem please still leave a comment or upload a response and I'm sure someone can direct you to a related article.

  • How do you fix it????

  • I have this problem too. How do u fix it?

  • I'm having the same problem, was this issue resolved?

  • turn off...turn on..cmd s during boot up sound...now delete some files. :/

  • Well that's interesting. I run a dual boot on my MacBook Pro 17" (Core 2 Duo, 2.4GHz) and while trying to boot into OS X does this, I can boot just fine into Windows. I don't think this is limited to a hard drive problem, even though in your case it happened to be.

  • @mark4power Lol... And then get a friggen virus on your computer just by starting it on. No way, idk if you either seem to think that macs are from 20 years ago. Just by the latest model and you won't have these kind of problems....

  • What disc should I use to stop the MUTHA FUCKIN BSOD ON MAC

  • hi... can you just recovery it using the disc?

  • How much was the harddrive??
