@harwell288 You are basing your numbers off of the car's display which has a delay from what the actual speed is. The next update after 24mph is 13mph. The actual speed that the car hit the boxes is most likely in the 13mph range.

@yiannifunataoldotcom Foil reflects radar! Just like back in World War 2, in order to fool the enemy's radars, aircraft would drop strips of foil (chaff)!

I'm not trying to say that this safety feature isn't worth money because I actually do think it can help you in certian situations but I think it should warn you a whole lot more sooner and brake sooner as well. In the last attempt you were at a steady 29mph. Not fast. But in the slo-mo RIGHHHTT before you hit the carboard box, the car only slowed down to a measley 27 mph and when you hit it, you were going about 24mph. With this system id expect to hit something at 18 if i was doing 29 mph IMO.

If you step on the break just when the beeping sounds, will you hit?
-
@osbroj they tested that on myth busters you dont want to slowdown or speed up just let go of thr gas
-
Does it tighten all the seatbelts in the car or just the front?
-
i want it!! i cant feel my pinkee

If you're going to hit a deer, you want to speed up, not slow down.
Clara Harris would have been better off had she owned one of these

I guess the first time it didn't work because the layer was too thin to be judged as dangerous from the radar (because it works with a radar, not reflections) so that's why it didn't work! When I get my prius I will try this test too!!!
