1979 is in my soul. This poem is not only a tribute to the wonderful Margi Clarke its also for the legend that is the Everyman Bistro. Margi is Liverpools true Liver Bird flying amazingly around the avenues and alley-ways of the city. This is about the very moment I first saw her. Its about The Everyman Bistro a hedonistic drunken oasis of genius bohemia. Its going now but it will be forever there. Its about a dark and itensely shining Liverpool that just wouldn't quit. Its about the solidity and myth of memory, the building blocks of empathy. Gx
Excellent work.
