Washington wins 2005 NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship

Description: The University of Washington Huskies women's volleyball team won the school's first NCAA National Championship in women's volleyball by upsetting the top ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in the final by the scores of 30-26, 30-25, 30-26. Washington was led by tournament Most Outstanding Player Christal Morrison who had 15 kills 7 blocks. Nebraska's Sarah Pavan had 16 kills to lead the way for the Huskers.
