So I would close with this: Make a video response, (comments are grueling) and explain where I made any incorrect statements, where my logic fails, facts that I shared that are wrong....but I would challenge you to so with evidence OUTSIDE of the bible.

And believe me, it doesnt take that much time or effort to refute some of these ridiculous claims. Ive put much more time and effort into other videos. But again, so what? Just cause someone puts time into something, that must mean they have some ulterior motive, like "hating god" (technically impossible since I dont believe he exists.)

Most people, even some atheists wouldn't waste their time constructing a youtube video? ARE YOU SERIOUS? There are thousands if not millions of videos discussing these topics. Thats what we are here for. We like the topic. We want to discuss these ideas.

@chad Im not going out of my way to be a dick. I am responding to a users claims. I was passionate. I was flustered. But I didnt go out of my way to insult him. I made an impassioned plea for him to look at the actual facts, and not just what the bible says. And yes, there are TONS of things in the bible that make me sick. The reason they dont have that effect on you is because they are IN the bible, so you have been conditioned to explain it away, justify it, or simply ignore it.

We are all a product of our environment, education, etc. I just decided to start using my curiosity and critical thinking skills a little more. And BTW, when this video was uploaded I had already been an atheist for about 4 years. So...veteran, maybe not, but NEWLY atheist....nah. In any case, that is also irrelevant. If I had just become a Christian yesterday, you wouldnt hold that against me...would you?

What happened? I was told by a good friend that I would go to hell because I didnt believe in Jesus. That sparked my interest. I began to read the bible,and many books(yes some on atheism) but others on christianity, and Islam, and Philosophy. And of course something in my life has shaped my conclusions. Same with you. You LEARNED your religion from somebody. So what? That is irrelevant.

Onto more cliches: I must have had a bad experience with the church right? Something horrible must have happened and Im mad at god. (You do realize these are textbook accusations thrown at atheists right?) Well NO. Im actually of a Jewish background. In the jewish god for most of my life. I had what you would probably call a "blessed" life. No tragic family deaths, no major accidents, good economic status....an overall good and pain/suffering free life.

3.- What do you mean by "actually studied the bible"? Should I have a degre in Theology? Or a PHD in religious studies? If so, then unless you have these same cualifications with regards to Islam, Hinduism or any other religion,...on what basis do you reject them? Have you REALLY studied the Koran? how bout the Bhagavad Gita?

2.-My logic and facts are incorrect? In what way? You simply state this, and dont explain why. That makes me a suspicious. Im not "just reciting" other peoples opinions. Im responding to somebody who claims facts, but without any evidence to back them up. Im refuting his statements by REFERENCING reputable archaeologists.Sorry if you dont like facts. What I "spew" might be my opinion, but I back it up with FACTS, from reliable sources. You know...something called EVIDENCE.

1.- Im not easily offended. But you must understand that I get tons of comments on this and other videos with people either insulting me, or saying something irrelevant. Since your first comment was devoid of content addressing what I actually say in the video, Im sorry, but I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that you were one of those people. So I apologize.
