@HosteDenis I'm not expert - I'm just saying what I hear and what I hear is that he's the best.....I know that there are different types of climbing, and Sharma is unbelievable as well.....but, if I had to choose, I'd say Honnold is better than them all, too.....Just my opinion of course....

@mousavsm Not true. While I do enjoy watching clips of Honnold and I find him a very talented and good climber, he's definitely not the best. In fact, he's not even close to being the best. He has never climbed 9a. However, he is a very good and talented climber, and when it comes to big wall soloing or in fact just plain soloing, it's true that no one comes even close to Honnold. But of all climbers, Honnold's not the best.

@HosteDenis Seems like Alex Honnold is better than them all.....

@azhum it would actually be really hard to campus a 5.7 outside with all that friction lol

trop spectaculaire :)

elated Dan Osman Free solos some hard walls. Chris sharma would never be able to free solo what dan has done.
It's comparing apples and oranges. Saying one climber is better is stupid. He free soloed cave rock with ease.

@Bluefire5 funky kingston - Toots and the Maytals

@azhum Dude, Dan Osman looks way cooler then chris Sharma!
-
how close did he come to decking? it seemed really close..

9a+ = 5.15a
Ya we have all seen the Dan Osman speed climbing video... soooo cool. But how many 5.15's did Osman climb?? or 14.d's? or or 14.c's??? Sharma is definitely a way fucking stronger climber.. you think chris could't go up a 5.7 in 2 minutes? shit man he'd campus that shit he just doesn't want to die.

Except that he didn't. Dan never climbed 5.15's...
Man, why do fanboys always think their idol is the best. Yes, Dan Osman has balls, and yes, he's strong. And yes, he climbed that 5.7 very fast. I was and am impressed by him, although I did always found it irresponsible to climb without safety-equipment. But seriously, he doesn't reach up to the knees of Chris Sharma or Steve McClure or Nicolas Favresse. They're just way better, and climb problems much more difficult.
