This machining example is being run on a DX612 with a KMT Streamline Pro 60HP pump. The material is 6061-T6 Aluminum .500" thick. The pump pressure is set to 90,000 PSI, the abrasive is set to 0.6 lb/min. and the machining speed is set to 40"/min.

Several pump sizes are available from 60,000 to 90,000 PSI and from 50 HP to 125HP depending on your job requirements. The DX is also capable of adding a second ITC cutting head that when coupled with the right pump will double your work out put.

  • Filling the table with the water and bringing the water up over the material really keeps it nice and quiet. This machine is just awesome...

  • @joeyalbergo

The DX series machines have the ability to raise the water level in the tank by about 3.5 inches so most of the work done can be submerged. It cuts down on the over spray, noise while cutting and mostly noise while creating the start hole. We've cut 1.5" steel at shows with the 90,000 PSI 125 HP pump and stood and talked right at the front of the machine.

  • @mcmachinery I have seen other WaterJet systems and they don't even come close. The large water tank that comes with the setup and allows for the fill really helped me out at times. Being able to fill and empty the table from a switch on the Controls was a great feature. I also like the hinged, fiberglass window that protects from the over spray, very cool!
