Lo SH con Cushing era rispettoso del canone, almeno i miseri cinque episodi sopravvissuti, il suo aspetto forse non tanto. In compenso Rathbone che sembrava uscito dai disegni di Paget finiva sempre catturato come ogni eroe dei film di azione.
Comunque mi piace questo trailer: questo convegno a Indianapolis sembra promettente...chi sa se restaureranno qualcosa....

Si è vero...Holmes è sempre stato trattato con molto poco riguardo...anche se la serie Granada è stata molto rispettosa e i cambiamenti che hanno apportato sono (quando non immotivati) stati fatti con stile. Rathbone è sicuramente uno dei più somiglianti e forse appasionati ma se devo dare un volto ad Holmes mi viene in mente il mitico Brett...dicono che anche Cushing sia stato un ottimo interprete ma purtroppo non ho ancora visto i suoi film...spero di farlo presto!!

well, to tell the truth, stage, screen and radio never respected the books.
These are something like 'parallel' holmes.
But I liked so much Basil Rathbone and Jeremy brett, and this is a funny video!
