hahaha Gotta love the quality of old fans. Got 3 of them, all of which were made in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA!!! They all run great, all they ever need is a few drops of oil once in a while.

I have the lasko wind machine. Its not too bad although I don't expect it lasting more than a few years. Moves a nice bit of air and was quite cheap at walmart

@MrArizonagreentea1 You might want to glue the blades on the shaft, however, unless you enjoy periodically taking the fan apart to put the blades back on the motor.

Very epic video! Man that sure shows why you don't want to buy today's junk! And yes, even the plastic bladed fans built during the 70's and 80's were well built and made to last and were made right here in the USA. I have 4 vintage plastic bladed Lakewood box fans from the 70's and 80's, a late 70's or early 80's 12" blue bladed Galaxy table fan and a Galaxy tilting table or floor fan from circa 1973.

@beauloftis1976 In fact, the only place/company I know of that sells good quality fans today is Fanimation.
