Got a 40 G, all I could get right now.
2 bucktooths
and 3 piranhas (2 juvenile, 1 large not full grown)

  • Oh, also, Try to get the tetras in numbers, they are a schooling fishing. I only had 2, so 3 plus would be great.

  • Hey. I had the tetra's together with the one piranha for about 6 months, then one was killed. But he was weak, I think he was injured. The one left, if doing fine in there. He is by him self, but he holds his own. The fish that I have lost have been due to me not feeding the fish enough, So I think as long as you keep your red bellies happy they should live with the bucktooths with success, I would say my tetra is successful with them

  • hey how are your tetras doing with the piranha? do they all get along ok? i got a 110 gallon with 3 red bellies and a mated pair of green terrors and im wanting to get a few of the bucktooth tetras for my tank since i hear they can be kept with piranha
