  • guys i love this post... we're thinkign of going here in august... so this is pretty much a cave at halong bay in which any1 can go into or is it open to public as long as u can afford it?

    Sorry, but you probably won't be able to visit this cave. It's not open to the public. If you book a trip with one of the higher end cruise ships, it might be possible, but you'll need to contact them in advance.

    There are several other caves you can visit in the Bay, but they're loaded with tourists. Most of the tours visit Sung Sot cave or a couple other smaller ones. But the "Drum Cave" seen here is not on the typical tourist circuit.

  • hrm.. which brings me to my next question... which Cruise did you book? hahaha

    i was looking into that too but unsure which one is a good choice... =)
