Audi Car Commercial

The older lady in the spot is Loretta Tupper, of the classic "Fruit of the Loom" spots and Annie Hall.
You can see the twin towers at the end of the commercial.
Pretty certain the voiceover is done by Geoffrey Palmer.
The Audi spot from (1990 ?) suggests a dirty, dangerous New York City. How things have changed (sigh).
I think -not sure- it was shot by Gordon Willis.

I still own this car ( 2.8l V6 quatro coupe ), it is now for over 7 years already in my Grandmothers garage...ans it is waiting for the reraisig out of the dust :-)....maybe in a few years, guess my son would be very happy one day!

@geofx09 never had a problem with my car. What makes you think I had to repair it? They both have about the same reliability, which is not bad but not as good as the top Japanese brands.

My Audi friend was always telling me that his ride was better than mine. Suddenly he had to change it, too many problems. Although I could have laughed about it, I didn't generalize. Any car can have problems. No?

i dont love the engineers thats why i prefer audi...

i told the same to a friend of mine..he didnt listen to me and now he has problems with ecu and the working of electronic things..but he dont love the engineers and now he want an audi :S
