Aww dude it isn't that loud just the phone picking it up since they were in very close proximity. I'm not sure what "old fashioned" means but maybe you mean lighter fluid and matches? I take my Q very seriously and this approach was spawned after seeing an ad for the fairly expensive aforementioned "Looftlighter". The enthusiast or purist will appreciate it more than most I guess...

i saw one of those things called Looftlighter for grills and 1st thing that came to mind is a wonder if a heatgun would work you have answered my question lol .....
