my first kiss happened five minutes after this song played in the middle of the night in a car parked in a parking lot in the pouring rain. we kissed for hours until the car battery died and then had to walk an hour back in the drizzle as the sun was rising. we walked through dark one-way tunnels and along highways and past a quarry and i almost got hit by a truck. i saw the boy one more time after this and then he left my life forever. that's what this song is to me.
