@Kansasgrandmother , it's nice to have the "freedom" to choose between a 5000 deductible or a 40000 emergengy hospital stay. What a wonderful country. Maybe Europe is wrong, people must pay THOUSANDS of dollars in the ER. Wow! What a "free" country this is, just magnificent. My sister lives in Europe, and poor soul has no idea what copay is. She also got 1-year maternity leave at 100% of her salary. Poor soul, she doesn't have a choice, she must spend the first year with her baby, terrible!

if plan parent hood did a better job, there would not be as many uninsured kids. are these kids living on their own?? where is their babies momma??

It's not a matter of choice. You don't choose to loose your job and you certainly don't choose to get sick. Health care is a basic human right and it is every humans duty to make sure this right is guaranteed for everyone.

FREEDOM of CHOICE. America was founded on Personal Responsibility. Each person has the freedom to choose; one can buy health insurance if one chooses. If you choose not to youre responsible for that choice.
Government is the only entity that tries to FORCE people. Original U.S. Constitution did not allow Government to use force until power-hungry Politicians changed it. Now they want to FORCE you to pay for other peoples bad choices by USING children in PROPAGANDA videos.

Every child in America can get health care. If their parent is too lazy or refuses to care enough to buy health Ins for them thats the real problem. You Cant force people to be good parents. Before the Government got involved a child could be seen by a Dentist or Doc who volunteered to drop by & help, asking parents if they wanted FREE consult. Parents back then were grateful, but lawyers got some to SUE, Gov created RED TAPE, & now Docs have to try to survive.
