Upright Gorillas Walk Upright Like a Man Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Shows not only one, but two gorillas walking upright and one can run.

Although most gorillas walk on all fours, some are quite agile when walking upright. This gorilla could not only walk, it could run quite quickly and with agility. It also carried something. This is a Western lowland Gorilla.

It is much like Ambam, a Western Lowland Gorilla.

If any animal looked like a real Bigfoot, it may be a bipedal gorilla.

**These are western lowland gorillas (gorilla gorilla). The adult males are very colorful with silver backs and red top hair. The gorilla (gorilla gorilla) is the largest of all living primates. These African apes are divided into two species and 4 or 5 subspecies. Their DNA is 97-98% identical to that of humans and they are considered the next closest relative after the bonobo and the chimpanzee. Gorillas can be over 6 feet tall and weight over 500 lbs. They are highly intelligent. Some such as Koko have been taught a subset of sign language. They use tools for a number of purposes. Gorillas are normally peaceful vegetarians.

This group of gorillas includes Colo. The 2011 Guinness World Records book shows that Colo is the world's oldest gorilla at 53 years old. She lives at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. She holds many more amazing records. Colo the world's first captive born and world's oldest gorilla is part of this gorilla group.
