Most of those aren't even countries.They're very small city states like Singapore, Brunei, etc. They have populations under a million and are consumer economes.They're mostly city states, principalities, not countries, which have no impact whatsoever on the world economy. In other words, they're insignificant. It's easy to have a larger per capita GDP when you have a population of only 400,000 or less. Per Capita GDP just means that you divide their very small nominal GDP's by population size.

Particulary Singapore is a tiny country with a incredible power, has more international reserves than Brazil, its military forces are more powerful than that of Argentina and Brazil together, exports 470 billions US$ comparable to Taiwan 600b, Germany 1400b, Japan 900b and USA 570b. Their percapita income is 64,000US$ and continues growing 6% per year. Has no resources, it has to import ground, food and water from its neighbours because it has a density of 6700hab/km2, is a badass small country

And yes, Singapore, Hong Kong, Qatar, Dubai and the Emirates and Luxembourg has real impact over the world economy. Qatar export 2 millon barrels per day, Hong Kong is the main finance center in China together with Shangai, Luxembourg is a important steel center in Europa and Singapore has the bigger stock exchange after USA, Japan and UK

Norway is ranked as the 10th biggest debtor nation with an external debt of 251% of its GDP. The USA is ranked as the 20th biggest debtor nation with its debt over 100% of its GDP.
