hey guys i have a traxxas t-maxx 3.3 and i want a better motor because it is hard to set the carb perfect on the 3.3 is the mgt easy to set the carb?
-
really that sucks. mine is about four years old now and the only thing I've replaced as fare as tranny parts go is the spur gear and the drive shafts from wear. but the tranny is holding up fine for me. try to loosen your slipper clutch a little and let it slip just a small amount that will take allot of the load off the tranny.

i got a mgt 4.6 se and i find its fantastic and very well balanced as u said but i have had to replace the gears in my tranny after almost every single run
-
the mgt is the best truck out there I have had mine since they can out about 4 years ago and it still has all the original tranny parts I have a picco .27 on it right now and I still have not had any problems. and these truck jump very well they are very balanced

not really

agreed, just bought a mgt 8.0, i was turned away from savages by all the people on youtube and the hobby store, and the 8.0 is a beast!
-
i agree. savages have many weak points. mainly the diffs...... just like any other hpi car with its shitty materials.
-
Same here mate i need a new one atm, savage bodys are very fragile tho. =]

That guy hat spended 15,000 must have gotten crapy parts because savages are the best bashers.
heh mass post time!
SYAY AWAY FROM SAVAGES!
they dont stay together. A guy at my track machined the whole thing out of aluminum, spent over 15,000 on it, and it still flies apart. Go with the MGT, they just came out with a new one, the 8.0 or somthing. Its a beast. Best money you will ever spend.
