Do you race others a lot? Have you tried SCX digital?

@spaceagelance scalextric digital RMS software. You can google it - it runs on a pc which is plugged into the scalextric digital powerbase

@spaceagelance Its the timing software. It can be set to play sounds at certain triggers. Cars passing the SF line, Fastest lap, start of race countdown etc.

Over christmastime with the family mostly - I live in New Zealand and there is some slotracers here but not many. Never tried scx - i believe its similar to scalextric? I have just brought the new scalextric powerbase so will replace the old one over the next month. (its going to be fiddly)

Do you like to make your own track layouts or real/pre-planned tracks? What's the dimensions?

@MOGULMANv heh i liked making this one based on a real track. As its a permanent track its not easy to change it - myabe one day i will destroy it and make a monaco - but I like catalunya circuit.

@GJPS11 Cheers!. I actually pulled some of the lights OUT, because then you get some nice effects with the car headlights more than when the track was brighter lit.
