We replace 'their' Police with ours of course - and restructure society so we need at lot less of them ! Why steal when you got everything you need huh ? Yes it really is that simple . . . . I also have to agree with 'kyowako' in that Thomas Jefferson was super cool & understood the constant danger of tyranny - which is why the right to bear arms is so important , as is the right of free speech etc . Unfortunately the right not to be brainwashed was not included in the U.S. Constitution .

The second amendment, the right for the people to carry firearms for self protection. Protect yourself, it's not the governments job to protect you. The two reasons the second amendment was put in the Bill of Rights was for people to protect themselves against crime, and for the people to protect themselves from a tyranical government.

I agree that the Police are there to predominantly protect the property owning elite etc, but when we do finally bring down the state, what do we replace the police with for protection?

violence is caused by government, army, police and is their tool. So, why everytime they do somthing provocative, do we react in the language of violence instead of denying them our energy. a few cops in a tent being Tea'd and given cookies is a minor snarl. letting them on in the first place bit of a bad mistake. but not getting pepper-sprayed and battoned is a plus-point. The thing is the Camp is "marketing" itself to the public, and to some that tactic is anathema. What will work fast -now?
