@adambus77 can i use another transistor?
-
hi!
great project, but i have one question:- i can replace IR detector with a photodiode?
-
or maybe a led and a solar cell?
-
fantastic project,
could a regular led and a photoelectric cell replace de infrared transmitter and receiver?
-
very good! very simple and perfect.

What is the diameter of yr neodymium and why do you have to wrap it up with green tape. I luv yr vids - esp those that blows up stuff. Thanks.

tanx .. just can u tell me plz , ,, this project work with 5 volt?? ,, and the electromagnet work with 5v?? is this power enough for levitation?? and can i increasing the power to increasing the levitation distance ?? tanx alot

@moeinglory yeah, 5V was enough because I used strong magnet as a levitating object. But when you want to make levitating some "non-magnet" (iron nail, screw or key...) then you need stronger electromagnet and more power. Of course you can increase power by making bigger electromagnet, taking bigger transistors, increasing the voltage above 5V....

hi,, is that 25v with 470u to 5v ??? for what purpose?? plz tell me .. tanx

@moeinglory "25v" is the rating of 470uf capacitor.not very important

can i use a normal 4.7k resistor instead of the regulated resistor....

@San1995007 regulated resistor is to adjust sensitivity so rather not
