St. Paul's Cathedral in San Diego is launching a major project to expand/renovate the cathedral, and sell land on both sides for a high-rise condo development. The church will get 20,000 square feet of new office and program space, plus a large payment from the developers. The church's architect was the renowned Philip H. Frohman, who designed Washington National Cathedral. The San Diego City Council voted unanimous approval on November 8.
