That wasn't the whole interview. The line that got him fired was something to the effect of, "The Blacks are the superior athletes because on the plantation they took the big Black man and mated him with a big Black woman to get a sturdy future slave." Which was still true, but the White executives and White America in general like to think their history is pure when they're peace brokering the centuries old Middle East bitterness.

well then again this all revolves back to slavery, because thats where we were migrated from Africa and brought here to US as slaves, so its kind of an all in one, but I wasn't offended by what he said of course it will make u cringe the way he worded it but I don't think he meant it in a derogatory way

Assumptions: Black people in America tend to self-medicate. Weed, cigarettes, alcohol, crack. Whatever drug of choice,done to dull the constant influx of PAINFUL messages; sources like the media, in grade school. In college, received failing grade on a paper? Citing: "you people don't read." There should be a medical diagnosis assigned. Blacks did nothing wrong. America: blinded w racism, continues to punish Blacks for the mistakes made by White America.

It's not the truth though. I agree that blacks are more naturally athletic. But it's more of an African thing, not a slavery thing. The guys in Africa would dominate all the sports too if they had the opportunities. Look up Senegal Lamb wrestling, and see how big these guys are.

Im black, and not really offended by what he said, the whole slavery thing about the big thighs and black athletes were superior is and was true, but I see how it could rub people the wrong way, I think he was trying to praise black athletes at a time when people just weren't comfortable with the black athlete being good in all major sports, but he just worded it wrong.

I wonder what he would say of all the current black owners/shareholders now. Michael Jordan (Charlotte Bobcats), Jay-Z (Brooklyn Nets), Sheila Johnson (Washington Mystics, Capitals, and Wizards), MLB's Washington Nationals (6 Black partners), and Serena & Venus Williams (Miami Dolphins).
